The place
Blush is a cabin you spot through coffee bushes before you reach it — a red gable in all that green. About 150 sq ft of living space with a large bathroom below, and an 80 sq ft loft above furnished with two queen mattresses.
The private balcony holds an outdoor bathtub open to the trees. As with its twin, the tub has weathered in the sun; the colour has faded, the cleanliness has not.
The pool sits under a dense canopy, shaded through most of the day, shared with the other cabins on this side of the farm.

- Pets are welcome with prior approval from the owner.
- Guests clean up after their pets, and linen is never used for pet cleaning.
- Footwear is removed before entering the house.
- Switch off lights, fans and air conditioning when you step out.
- The farm and everything growing on it are private. Please ask before picking.
- Bottled drinking water is not provided; filtered water is.
- Housekeeping runs once every two days, between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm.
- Breakfast is served 8:30–10:00 am. Lunch orders by 11:00 am, dinner orders by 3:00 pm.
- Campfire ₹800 per hour. Barbecue setup ₹800 for two hours, plus the cost of what you grill.
- An exterior camera covers the entry.
- There is no smoke alarm. A carbon monoxide alarm is not required — everything here runs on electricity.

Walks along the Kabani
A gate at the end of the farm opens onto the bank. From there the walkways run along the water for as long as you want them to.
The paddy collective
Three hundred acres of paddy farmed collectively, right across the road. Walking through it and meeting the villages that work it is the most honest thing you can do in Wayanad.
Around the farm
Coffee, pepper, nutmeg, areca, coconut and a long list of other spices grow here. Ask, and someone will walk you through it and show you what each one looks like on the tree.
Campfire after dark
A chill settles over the farm in the evening. The firepit is the reason nobody goes inside.

The property is in a wonderful location, right by the Kabani river and surrounded by greenery. The room was very clean and comfortable, the attic space for sleeping being an added positive. A morning walk through the property itself is a peaceful experience. Great place to stay if you're visiting Wayanad and want to stay away from the rush of the main areas.

The cottage was beautifully designed, blending rustic charm with modern comforts. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and offered stunning views of the river. We enjoyed leisurely walks along the riverbank and were thrilled to spot various birds and wildlife.
